As head coach, Jae Woo Lee will replace Roelof Bruins(Choi Myung Gil). The newly assigned head coach is known to have in-depth understanding of motorsports and touring cars, being the No.1 driver to have won the most races and pole positions in Korea from 1995 to 2017. Lee also possesses 12 years of experience as Head Coach, which will allow him to coordinate the team well.
With the lineup all set, Solite Indigo Racing is to put their new teamwork to test in TCR Malaysia round 3 to 6 prior to their full season entrance in TCR Asia. The team will undergo intense training and testing to make sure they seize 2020 drivers’ and teams’ title in the upcoming TCR Asia season.
“It’s a great honor to be recruited again by Solite Indigo Racing as head coach. My commitment and enthusiasm for motorsports has not changed one bit, compared to 14 years ago when I was a rookie driver for Indigo Racing,” said Head Coach Lee Jae Woo. “With accurate analysis and communication with the new team, we will fight for victory and live up to our fans expectation.”
Roelof Bruins, Drivers’ Champion of 2019 Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia Series as well as former Solite Indigo Racing’s Head Coach will continue his passion for motorsports by supporting the team’s marketing business.
Having achieved the team’s goal set out in 2018, the year in which the team entered overseas races for the first time, Solite Indigo Racing is to now expand their possibilities and vision in the global motorsports business with Bruins, while securing double titles with Josh, Jin Soo and Jae Woo.
